SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms govern the text message program operated by Carolina Property Management, LLC ("CPM"). By opting in to receive texts from CPM, you agree to these terms.

Program description.

CPM sends account-related and operational text messages to applicants and residents regarding their tenancy — for example, move-in reminders and other service notifications. This is a transactional program; we do not send marketing or promotional texts.

Consent (how you opt in).

SMS consent is collected directly by CPM and separately from your lease or any other agreement. When you provide your mobile number (for example, on our rental application), you may choose to opt in by affirmatively agreeing — for example, by checking a dedicated SMS consent box that links to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. Your agreement to receive texts is not part of, and is not required by, your lease or any other agreement, and is not a condition of renting from us. You may decline texts and still apply for and lease a home.

Message frequency.

Message frequency varies; these are occasional, transactional messages.

Costs.

Message and data rates may apply. Such charges are billed by your mobile carrier. CPM does not charge for these messages.

Opt out.

Text STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) at any time to cancel; we'll send a confirmation and stop. To resume, opt in again.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
